If you are like us, you LOVE egg nog this time of year. Well you can still have your egg nog fix at any time of day with this awesome Egg Nog Power Smoothie that is a perfect breakfast, post workout snack or just minus the protein powder and sip as an afternoon drink 🙂
CHICK FEED: Egg Nog Protein Power Smoothie Recipe
•2–3 Ice Cubes
•1 scoop natural Protein Powder (for dairy free, try hemp or brown rice protein)
•1 cup homemade almond milk
•2 Egg Whites
• 2 dates (for sugar free, please use stevia to taste)
•1/4 tsp of pure vanilla
•1/4 tsp of run flavour extract
•1 tsp each: Cinnamon & nutmeg
CHICK TIPS:
- GO GREEN! Turn this into a super nutrient packed green smoothie by throwing in a handful of baby spinach.
- SUPER FOOD SIPPER: This is the perfect power drink to supercharge even more. Add super foods like maca, chia seeds or turmeric for extra health benefits.
- DRINK IT WARM! Skip the ice and blend. Then slowly heat in a pot on the stove for a warm comfort drink (that’s good for you!)
