Tasty Tidbit – My Nummy Brekkie

Hey Chicks!!

Just wanted to share with you the easy, delish brekkie I had today. I love steel cut oats, but don’t always have time to cook them. Last night I soaked some dry steel cut oats, a few chia seeds, cocoa and stevia in some unsweetened almond milk. (My bf did the same but added a bunch of berries. I love berries, but the berry chocolate combo just doesn’t do it for me!)

When I woke up this morning, the milk was soaked up and the oats were thick and chewy. I topped them with a dollop of natural almond butter and voila – a bowlful of deliciousness for my busy morning! (Bad me had no veggies this morning, but I more than made up for it with a huge green smoothie as a mid-morning snack, aswell as veggies in all my other meals!)

And on another exciting note – they now sell Greek yogurt in Calgary! I have been looking forever. It’s pricey, but delicious and thick full of protein. My new love!
