February Chick of the Month

This month’s Chick of the Month is the fabulous Amanda Green . She’s had some inspiring fitness results, check out her awesome pics and our interview!

FC – How long have you been attending G.I. Jane Bootcamp?

I started July 2009

FC – What have your results been like?

I feel fabulous! I have lost 12 inches and 15 pounds! My whole body
is more toned and defined, my face is thinner; I still have a way to
go but my curves are shaping up beautifully!

FC – What were your top 3 goals for
joining this program?

I wanted some good positive activity in my life – I needed to get my ‘strength’ back! My goals for joining the program were….to gain a
more positive outlook on physical activity and healthier habits in my
life; to gain strength in my mind and body; to lose the inches and gain the
endurance to run up the stairs without breaking a sweat or running out of breath.

FC – What is your favorite exercise?

I have truly formed a bond with all of them… I love to hate them! Although there is one that I am determined to beat… planks! I push through the sets and it feels amazing afterwards, but I still have a way to go before I will feel like I have mastered them.

FC – Did you find class to be inviting and accessible?

Always! I could go to class after having a doo doo day at work and
want to do nothing but smile when I walk through the door! My Sgt. Chick is always happy to see us and always excited to help us get stronger! Each class is different which keeps things fun and exciting. I really enjoy how she keeps us motivated while we sweat it out and push through!!

FC – What is your definition of a FIT CHICK?

My definition of a fit chick is woman who chooses to be positive,
strong and healthy. A woman who digs deep inside and pulls out the
strength she knows she has and empowers herself with it everyday,
showing the world what she is made of!

Here are some of her strength results:

Before Push-ups – 30 girl
After Push ups – 60 girl or 40 full

Before Jumping Jacks – 20 and 20 low impact
After Jumping Jacks – 62 High impact

Before Sit ups – 35
After Sit ups – 67

Before Dips – 25
After Dips – 45

Those are unbelievable numbers, Amanda, Chickerrific work!!
