This is one we whipped up this morning to take to work. It’s satisfying, energizing and yummy, and contains 4 servings of fruit and veggies! What more could a Fit Chick want?
Glorious Green Smoothie Recipe
1 banana
1/2 cup frozen mango
1 scoop of protein powder
3 cups of spinach
Water (as much or as little to get the consistency you want)
Throw all ingredients into a blender and blend on high. But if you take it to go you may want to use a straw, a green smoothie moustache is not very attractive!
Don’t turn your nose up at the thought of spinach in a smoothie….apart from the green colour you won’t even know it’s there! A green smoothie is also a great snack to sip after work before your GI Jane Bootcamp session so you can give it your all. Enjoy!
