Each month we celebrate a chick who embodies all things FIT CHICKS including fab fitness results, healthy changes in mind & body and  is inspiration to those around her (we are all warm and fuzzy!). This month, we are celebrating Audrey from our Toronto Annex Bootcamp, who not only has built amazing strength and muscle tone but has lost a kick butt 16lbs!

FC – What made you decide to join FIT CHICKS?

I wanted to establish a regular workout routine and do not enjoy going to the gym. I enjoy the bootcamp class format and friends of mine had just joined Amanda’s Monday/Wednesday bootcamp in the Annex. I kept hearing how challenging and rewarding their workouts were, so after attending a class with Amanda I was hooked. Fit Chicks was a perfect fit for me!

FC – How did FIT CHICKS help you in reaching your goals?

My instructor Amanda is fantastic. She’s always motivating me to challenge myself and reach my potential in the class setting. When I’m not attending bootcamp, there are lots of workout options that I can do in the comfort of my condo, including the 20 minute workout video, Amanda’s weekend challenges, as well as additional workouts on the Members Section of the website. The Fit Chicks blog, newsletter, and regular communications on healthy eating and living have transformed my eating habits. I look forward to trying new recipes and appreciate the tips and reminders that are sent to keep me on track over long weekends and the holidays.

FC – What is your fave FIT CHICKS workout? Which exercises do you love to hate?

My favourite workouts are tabatas and skipping drills. I love to hate the “8 steps to Fabulousness” and Jane Fonda booty workouts (those are killer!).

FC – What have your results been like since joining bootcamp?

My results have been incredible – both physically and mentally. Physically I am more toned and my strength and endurance have improved tremendously. I have lost 16 pounds and am happy, have more energy, and am less stressed. Bootcamp is a great outlet for stress after a long day at the office:)

FC – What do you like about sweating up a storm with FIT CHICKS?

Fit Chicks is fun, challenging, and never boring. Every class is different. I love the bootcamp class setting and the support network during and in between classes.

Audrey, we are so proud of you for committing to changing your health and becoming the fierce chick we knew you were…it is so inspiring to all chicks who are starting (or already started!) living la vida FIT CHICK that they can do it too! Thanks for allowing us to help along your journey and keep up the fabulous work!
