Hey Chicks!

So it is that time of year where we say see ya to 2011 and welcome in a New Year!

FIT CHICKS TS Elliott Quotes

Now with a New Year also come the resolutions and events. For your New Year’s Resolutions just be honest with yourself about what you want and how you plan to get it. Without a plan you may end up going in circles for a while, nobody wants that!

My Tips to making New Year’s Resolutions Work!

So if your goal is to lose weight or eat healthy for example here are three key things I suggest you try to do in order to reach those goals:

1.    Set S.M.A.R.T Goals! (Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely)

2.    Do not try to do everything at once just take it one step at a time and be patient as change does not happen overnight

3.    Be kind to yourself you deserve to be softer to yourself and appreciate all you are doing to make your changes.

Now for the New Year’s Events! There is a lot of hype around New Year’s Eve with parties having overpriced cover charges, expensive set menus at restaurants and even the stress of having to stay awake til midnight to ring in the year with the peeps in NYC!

My suggestion is make sure that you ring in the year surrounded by the people who matter to you in your life, even if it is over Skype 😉 and wear something that makes you feel like the best you possible, after all you want to start the year off on the right foot.

I know that at times the New Year coming can bring along some frustration or anxiety but try to go at it with a positive outlook and open mind and remember what you put out there is what you will get back in life so just give’r!

Happy New Year see y’all in 2012!
