Hey Chicks!
Everyday I ask myself is this my heart talking or my head – yes in relationship stuff but that is not what I am talking about today – what I mean is when I am training really hard and am I wanting to give in is it because my body is saying so or because my brain is trying to throw in the towel.
I ask chicks in my Annex Bootcamp class to always give me everything they got in class. To workout at a 9 out of 10 on the exercise richter scale and to go to the “ugly zone” the part where each chick is working so hard to push through those High Intensity Intervals reps that they are panting, making faces and possibly yelling or as some of my chicks do cussing in class but never giving up.
So then I had to ask myself, am I working out everyday to failure or letting my head control my outcome?
I have recognized the difference now and can honestly say that when my brain is starting to play the “rest” tape in my head I turn it off and push through and end up feeling like I really accomplished something in the end. It is about seeing past the internal discussion and knowing you can achieve anything you want, it just takes some hard work, effort and a lot of want! You can also get help from personal trainers dublin to keep you motivated during the days when you just don’t want to workout.
So now I ask you – when you train or do anything in life for that matter, are you letting your thoughts get in your way of achieving what you know you are destined to be?
