If you are into competitions or maybe just like a new challenge give this Partner Abdominal Move a try – guaranteed to get your core burning and spike that competitive edge!

Partner V-Sit with a “Twist”

This move will engage your transverse abdominals as well as oblique’s in a big way!

How To do a partner v-sit to strengthen your core muscles:

Sit side by side with a partner or even a wall if you are flying solo that day!

Keep your knees and feet together

Raise your legs (bent at 90 degrees) so your toes are in line with your nose – now you are in the V-sit portion

To raise the stakes a little take your outside hand and press palm to palm or palm to wall and push with all of your might. The object of this is to try and get your partner to fall over so you “win” the V-Sit challenge.

Try holding and pushing for 30 seconds to start on each side and eventually work your way up to 1 minute.
