FC – What made you want to become a Personal Trainer and Boot Camp Instructor with FIT CHICKS?
I became a Personal Trainer because I love the feeling after I have worked so hard to achieve my health goals, and I wanted to share that with others…and show them it’s possible. I became a Bootcamp instructor with FIT CHICKS, because I love what we stand for. A healthy BALANCED lifestyle…no gimmicks….just hard work, and believing in yourself!
FC – Which location do you teach?
I teach at the Ottawa – Orleans location.
FC – What are your top 3 cardio and / or strength exercises to help women tighten and tone their trouble spots?
Top 3 cardio would have to be burpees, plank jacks, and standing mountain climbers…I actually love these!! My top 3 strength exercises would have to be, the ab twist (all time fav), good old squats, and push ups
FC – What’s your favourite healthy post-workout snack after a kick butt workout?
After my workout I used to have some greek yogurt with fruit. Now though…after reading Mama Chick Mondays…I LOVE the pumpkin, yogurt and cinnamon. It’s my new favourite snack!!
FC – What are your professional fitness certifications?
My certifications are, Personal Trainer Specialist with CanFitPro, and certified Zumba Instructor.
FC – Other than being a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor, what would you like Chicks to know about you?
I am a happy mother of two boys who are 2 and 4. They keep me busy from the time they get up, to the time they go to bed….and sometimes after that too 🙂
They are one of my main reasons for staying fit…I wouldn’t be able to keep up with them if I wasn’t. I enjoy being able to run around at the park with them…and climb on the equipment with them too!!
