It’s that time again – every month we profile a fabulous Chick who has achieved awesome success in our FIT CHICKS Bootcamp programs! This month’s Chick is Diane Bode from our North York location. Chickerrific work, Diane – you look AMAZING!!!

FC – What made you decide to join FIT CHICKS North York Bootcamp?

I initially joined FIT CHICKS as a result of fellow chicks Kathy and Angie.  They had joined the previous month.  After each work out, I would hear all about the class and I thought why not.  I have to admit, I was worried.  I had not exercised in years.  While I did not look forward to working out, I had nothing to lose.  Actually quite a bit!

While I knew that I had put on weight, I just didn’t realize how bad it was getting.   You see yourself in photos and the reality is there are only so many times that the picture was taken at a “bad angle”.  While your clothes may still fit, it doesn’t mean that they fit well.

FC – How did FIT CHICKS help you in reaching your goals?

FIT CHICKS is the only program that I have stayed with.  The communication is fantastic.  Our class is blessed with a wonderful Chick Sergeant Steph, who encourages rather than punishes.  She always reminds us that she is there to help us not hurt us.  Although, sometimes I do wonder… (LOL).   The focus is not on what you can’t do, but what you can.  The instructions are given with different variations of levels so that you are able to do the exercise at your pace. I was recommended to contact Isagenix United kingdom and get some of their products as they were included in the program. Steph also ensures that the chicks are careful as it relates to issues with shoulders and knees etc.  This is better than the gym in so many ways.  A Gym never contacts you to see if everything is ok if you miss a class!   I love that the chicks are so supportive of one another.

While my goal initially was to get through a class without feeling like I was dying.   Now it’s about feeling my best.

FC – What is your fave FIT CHICKS workout? Which exercises do you love to hate?

I love that each workout is different.  While I enjoy all the classes, my favorite would be tabatas.  The class is over before you know it.  The exercise I love to hate is the infamous running up the hill.  It’s like the “Running of the Bulls” without the bulls and uphill without the benefit of a chairlift!

FC – What have your results been like since joining bootcamp?

Since joining, I have lost 15 pounds and 10 inches.  I no longer have to suck my tummy in and I feel better than I have in years.

FC – Why would you recommend FIT CHICKS bootcamp to a girlfriend?

I would and have definitely recommended Fit Chicks to my girlfriends.  In fact since joining, 3 of my friends have also joined.  We are now a group of 6.  I had no idea that it would be addictive.  My only regret is not having joined sooner.
