Meet Your Chick Sergeants – Introducing Anna from Don Mills!

It’s Tuesday which means its time to meet one of our fabulous bootcamp instructors! This week’s features Chick Sergeant is the awesome Anna from our Don Mills location.

FC – What made you want to become a Personal Trainer and Boot Camp Instructor with FIT CHICKS?

It feels natural for me to teach and instruct fitness within groups. I wanted to be part of a fitness company that is in alignment with like core values from which I can lead, teach and encourage women to thrive and feel great. I love the variety of ‘fun’ctional boot camp programs that FIT CHICKS offers. Every class is unique with sometimes the use of good double end boxing bags, and it only gets progressively more challenging from there. I love being a Chick Sergeant Extraordinaire for FIT CHICKS and helping improve the lives of many Fab Chicks.

FC – Which location do you teach?

I teach at the Don Mills location Mondays and Wednesdays at 7pm.

FC – What are your top 3 cardio and / or strength exercises to help women tighten and tone their trouble spots?

  1. Squats with alternating clock kicks
  2. Plank Jacks with alternating knee twist to chest
  3. Walking lunges/ weights on shoulders-alternating elbow to opposite knee

FC – What are your professional fitness certifications?

  1. Villari’s Martial Arts: 2nd Dan Black Belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate and Qi-Gong, Instructor’s Certification
  2. Canfitpro: FIS (Group Fitness Instructor Specialist,) CPR

FC – What’s your favorite healthy post-workout snack after a kick butt workout?

Pasta salad with tuna and green onions 🙂

FC – Other than being a Group Fitness Instructor Specialist, what would you like Chicks to know about you?

I am passionate about helping people achieve and maintain physical, mental and spiritual well-being. I enjoy clearing the way for others to improve the quality of their life by bringing awareness to healthful choices. To this effect, I am a Life Activator ™ (Life Coach) and Professional Astrologer.
