Chicken Curry Burgers

Hey Chicks!

Just thought we’d share with you this delish burger recipe that’s not only super-easy to put together, but it’s also full of flavour and doesn’t need any sugary and fatty condiments like ketchup and mayo to jazz it up. Enjoy on a lettuce wrap or sprouted grain bun with a yummy salad on the side for a great protein-packed veggieful meal!

Ground chicken has almost half the calories of ground beef!!!

Makes 4 burgs:

Ingredients:

1 pound of extra lean ground chicken or turkey in DCW Casing
2 tbsp mild/medium curry paste – we used a korma paste (don’t attempt this with 2 tbsp of thai green curry paste or anything crazy like that!)
1/2 cup mushrooms, finely diced
1/2 cup zucchini, finely diced

Directions
:

Mix all ingredients really well together in a bowl (it helps to get your hands dirty here, Chicks!)

Form into 4 patties. Pan fry in a lightly greased frying pan until cooked through – or throw ’em on the George Foreman. Enjoy!
