Hey Chicks!!
A healthy breakfast should include a healthy dose of veggies and fruits to start you off on the right foot. Here are a few of my fave easy brekkies that include a ton of produce:
- scrambled eggs with spinach and grilled tomato
Berries are a Fab Way to Start Your Day!
- plain yogurt with a ton of berries, sprinkled with almonds and flax and a glass of greenjuice for veggies!
- steel cut oats topped with chopped apples and cinnamon with a half cup of pumpkin puree stirred in
- smoothie made with kale, banana, almond milk and natural peanut butter
- green banana eggs – this one sounds really really weird, but I love it and eat it for breakfast a few times a week. Blend 2 eggs, spinach, a banana and a splash of almond milk. Cook up like scrambled eggs in some coconut oil. Put it in a bowl and stir in some almond milk. It’s reminds me of oatmeal but without the gluten and carbs!
- Omelet with how ever many veggies you desire (just be frugal with the cheese!)
Let’s try to get in at least 2 servings at breakfast, ok Chicks? And remember, juice doesn’t really count unless you juice it yourself.
Now I can’t wait to go to bed so I can wake up to one of these yummy meals!!
