A Fit Chick said to me…STAY HYDRATED!!!
With all the boozing and yummy hot drinks on cold winter days, I know it’s hard to keep up your water intake. But trust me, it’s super important! Keeping up with your 8 glasses of water a day will keep your energy up and your skin glowing during the holiday season. It could also help keep your appetite in check since sometimes when we get the munchies it’s not hunger striking but thirst.
I know it’s hard when it’s cold, but warm water counts too. I start off every day with 2 cups of warm water with a squeeze of lemon. It not only warms me up in the morning, but it rehydrates me and gets the old digestive system moving. It’s a great morning bevvie instead of coffee or tea.
Also, when you are out partying this holiday season, try to alternate alcoholic drinks with water. This will help you drink less and be less likely to suffer a hangover the next morning. And always have a couple glasses of water before bed after you have been to a party!
