A Fit Chick said to me…GET OUTSIDE!!!

A great way to burn cals and hang out with friends and fam is doing outdoor activities. Skating, tabogganing, snowshoeing and skiing are all fabulous calorie torchers. If you are like me and not so sports sledinclined, a brisk walk in the snow is great too. Don’t be afraid of the cold, bundle up in layers and get moving. That healthy cup of hot cocoa (check out one of our older blog posts for the recipe!) tastes so much better after you have worked up a sweat!

I know the temptation to veg out is really strong, but getting outside for a half hour each day will really keep off holiday weight gain, and get some much needed Vitamin D on your bones to help keep you healthy through the winter.
