I personally can’t stand the stuff, but I know tons of peeps who drinks egg nog by the gallon this time of year. Sorry for you egg nog lovin’ chicks out there, but this is one holiday treat you really need to just forget about!

How bad is it??? One cup of store bought nog (and remember, one cup ain’t a lot!) has a whopping 350 eggnogcalories, 19 grams of fat and 22 grams of sugar! Talk about a triple whammy for sabotaging your fat loss efforts! And that doesn’t include the shot or two of rum!!! If you make your own the count is probably going to be higher. Forget the lite stuff too, it’s still loaded with crap plus way more chemicals and artificial sweeteners.

Find a new low cal bevvie to enjoy this holiday season instead, like wine, soda with a splash of fruit juice, low cal hot cocoa, or even a flavoured vodka with soda. Keep the alcohol in moderation, and the creamy drinks to a minimum too.
